Hello, my name is Hadley Gilpatrick! I am a scenic artist, designer, illustrator, and theatre technician. I recently graduated with a B.F.A in Theatre Design and Technology from Columbus State University, focusing on Scenic Art and Design. Born in Columbus, Georgia, I worked extensively at both the Columbus State University Riverside Theatre and the Springer Opera House, the state theatre of Georgia. I had the honor of spending my 2022-2023 Fall & Spring Season studying as a Scenic Art intern with the Pacific Conservatory Theatre in Santa Maria, California. I also recently finished my second summer studying and working at the Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown, New York as a Scenic Art Apprentice, and am excited to continue my scenic art career. I have a love for theatre, a passion for visual art, and a desire to travel wherever it takes me. I am an active member of USITT, and I was a collegiate member of CSU's Alpha Psi Omega Theatre Honor Society. Outside of the paint shop, I work as a freelance studio artist and program illustrator. My favorite things in this world in order are Golden Artist Colors Ultramarine Blue, a hot shower, and indie comics. I spend most of my free time overanalyzing horror movies, listening to showtunes, and working on a fairly silly graphic novel.
